A Siren's Elixir

We are always drawn to the siren as a symbol of beauty, temptation and peril, and our new piece Elixir is a video sculpture in which tiny mermaids appear to swim through herb-infused bottles, recalling cabinets of curiosity, apothecaries, alchemy and bottled spirits.

The piece will premiere as part of Fairies and Filth, our solo exhibition at Lansdown Gallery in Stroud, where fairytale fantasies heavily collide with the realities of modern life. 

Opening Wednesday 16 September, 18:30–21:00 (Open Evening), with public viewing Thursday 17–Friday 18, 10:00–17:00, and Saturday 19–Sunday 20, 09:00–19:00 for Hidden Notes ticket holders only.
